After my apprenticeship as a boatbuilder, I studied at Hochschule Bremen naval architecture focused on yacht design. During my studies I worked for different design offices and projects. Since  I founded Yacht concepts & design in 2005 I worked independent for the yacht industry and realised numerous projects in yacht- and boatbuilding. In 2011 I founded together with Roland König the company CEproof Norddeutschland to have anwers for problems and questions regarding the CE certification of pleasure boats. I am a accredited inspector of the notified body HPi Verification Services. For several years I gave yacht design lectures at Hochschule Bremen. Sailing and water sports in general are my passion.
